I'm wondering if there are any used bookstores in Chesapeake, or maybe if any of the libraries run little stores or fundraisers of their own where they sell paperbacks and whatnot for a cheap price.

Most yard sales that I've been to sold books that they no longer wanted. When I was reading a book every week, I spoke to the bookstore clerk and what they did was purchased the book I read, that I purchased from them, at a lesser price or just gave me a discount off the next book.

The Chesapeake libraries have book sales once a month. Each one is on a different Saturday though. Paperbacks are .50 and hardbacks $1.00 I think.
