Mountain Goat is now open: The Mountain Goat | a Rock Climbing Gym in Greenville, SC Love that there's another place for rock climbing in this area and it's located right in the heart of Greenville.

I'm a bit late to this party - but we tried Voodoo this weekend. I haven't had brisket in forever, and theirs was terrific. I had the sandwich, but next time I'll get the platter. Their 3 sauces - Mojo (hot-ish), Cane-Vinegar (sweet-tangy), and Mango-Crystal (Crystal is a hot sauce like Tabasco) are all very good. I would also like to try the Jerk Chicken and Cajun Sausage. The more Cajun offerings we can get, the better.

I'd never compare this to Bucky's (chorus of angels sing), because it's somewhat apples and oranges. Very tasty apples and oranges.

Still, I'll definitely drag the offspring back to Voodoo's, which is pretty much a positive recommendation.

I noticed on the menu that the Hormel logo was next to the sides. I'm assuming that means they aren't made specifically for that restaurant and are generic sides. Safe assumption or no?

Thanks for the review - looking forward to trying it soon!

After hearing from a friend who tried Voodoo BBQ, it does sound different (in style and flavor, not overall quality) than most BBQ places in town. It may be closer to the local style than Korean BBQ (which I love), but apparently it is quite different nonetheless.

Thank you very much for the review.

I swore I saw construction materials in the parking lot of the old Bi-Lo on Roper Mtn. Road driving on I-385 today. Anybody know if anything is in the works for it?

Rivals has been open for at least a month. Hopefully their pub food is at least as good as Joe Schmo's.

The Spinx or whatever it is across Highway 153 from Hickory Point has also been stalled for at least a month. Never seen a major gas station chain being constructed stall before.
