Thank you for reminding me of the hot dog vendor in downtown Greenville. I had heard about a new stand with Chicago-style hot dogs but had forgotten the exactly location.

ClayLuvGod, where is Westgate Mall?

Highway 29 at I-26. Look for Blackstock Road.

That's my cart and we do sell genuine Chicago Dogs. One of my customers told me about this forum the other day and suggested I check it out. I am glad I did. We are branded with Vienna Beef (which has absolutely nothing to do with Vienna sausages) and have all the proper components shipped in from them. We have also added two other authentic Chicago foods - the Italian Beef and Italian Sausage. In addition to that we have more traditional Southern style dogs. My aunt ran the lunch counter at Varner's drug store in Brevard, NC and we use her chili recipe. It reminds me of my childhood every time I taste it.

Anyway, I am proud to be bringing some authentic Chicago foods here and hope that many of the folks here will come see us. We will do our best not to kill ya! :-)

Thanks,
Dave

WestGate Mall is on Spartanburg's west side, and is the largest mall in the state after Haywood in Gville. Its on I-26 at the US-29 exit.

The website is here: http://www.westgate-mall.com

Thanks so much, Carolina_1690 for the info on WestGate Mall in Spartanburg, and glad you joined Citi-Data, Downtown Dogs. I will definitely be coming to see you next time I'm downtown. Good to know that you now have Italian Beef and Italian Sausage too. Now I'll have nothing to get homesick about!

I don't remember. But it is the only place in the food court that sells dogs. It is in between Garfield's and Gyro House.
