Some serious rumors especially on another forum are starting to swirl that Apple is looking to put a retail store in the Riverplace development in downtown Greenville. It will go in the office building fronting Main Street just above High Cotton restaurant next to the alleyway. Can't confirm whether this is true or not though. The retail spot is in a very oddball location that is tucked away, but Apple would definitely work there with the draw they get from the public. I'll keep you updated if anything new comes up. Another big rumor is that Dunkin' Donuts is looking to put a store in Piazza Bergamo.
Don't know unfortunately. Fall 2009 for Magnolia Park if it's still going there. Originally it was supposed to go at Haywood Mall but there was no room available for one due to almost every tenant spot in the mall being filled.
There was recently a rumor that Greenville's Mac-only store iPlace Technology Solutions would possibly be relocating downtown, however this latest rumor sounds more definitive. Either place would be welcome downtown, especially at RiverPlace.

Confirmed! iPlace is relocating it's retail initiative to Riverplace, upstairs on the terrace level adjacent to Talloni's. Timeframe looks good for mid-summer grand opening. We are really looking forward to embracing the inertia of downtown Greenville and creating the Mac-centric community that Greenville has been waiting for. Stay tuned gentle readers, for some really exciting stuff is at hand!

It went to 7993 Pelham Road instead, i guess that was the really exciting thing that was at hand.
It relocated there before they said they were going to Riverplace.
