Hello - my family and I will be moving to the area soon and are seriously considering the Powdersville Area - mainly for location and for schools. What neighborhoods do you recommend in that area?

What stores/shops are in that area? (ie Target, Walmart, Grocery, etc)

Any recommendations for daycare? Montessori schools?

Thanks!

What price range are you looking for? Several nice neighborhoods are scattered around the Powdersville-Wren-Easley area, ranging from moderately affordable to upscale. Check out Birch River, Leacroft, Raven Hills, The River Reserve, Kensington, Woodson Lake, Chestnut Springs, Brookstone Meadows, and Hornbuckle for starters.

Easley is a few miles away and has numerous big box retailers, including Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, JC Penney, Belk, Khol's, Kmart, Hobby Lobby, Staples, Publix, Ingles, BI-LO, & etc... Powdersville has decent supermarkets in BI-LO and Ingles, a nice Ace Hardware store, a handful of pharmacies, a locally owned pet shop, an atv store, lots of small retail and service shops, and etc... Walmart is planning a new store in Powdersville as well.

Childcare services are fairly easy to find in and around Powdersville.

Foothills Montessori School is located between Easley and Powdersville on S.C. 153.

Wow, I think Skyliner answered most of your questions. Great job! Depending on your price range & type of home more answers will come. My grandchildren went to Concrete Primary, then Powdersville elementary & middle. Powdersville has a new High school & there is also Wren. Greenville's shopping is very close so no worries there. Anderson is pretty convenient as well.

Price Range - between 200000-275000 (would prefer the lower end but want a nice neighborhood). Looking for 3 BR and Bonus or 4 BR. Relatively new construction would be nice - not looking for a fixer upper! Also, would like there to be some distance between houses (don't want them sitting on top of each other). Any ones that you would recommend in particular? Also, have you heard any feedback on Foothills Montessori? Sounds like shopping will be fine! Yeah! Thanks for your feedback!!!!

I see about 12-14 homes on the mls that meet that criteria. You should not have a problem finding a home. I put in that you would like at lease 1/2 acre at least 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. I did not go over the 275k price range but you might look at homes up a little over that as they may be negotiable. Depending on the days on market & motivation to move.

I am within walking distance to all of these
