About 20 years ago my dad used to take me down to Van Patton's (bridge) off Hwy 418. Back then it was hard to get down to the rapids. I'm just wondering the condition of it now. I'd like to take my wife and child down there just to visit but if the paths are still treacherous i'll avoid it for sure.
