We will be visiting the area again during Thanksgiving along with other family members that are also considering relocating to Greenville (6 total). We were hoping to find a good place to all got to for Thanksgiving dinner. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Lakeview Steak House in Greer is excellent. They have the best turkey and dressing in town. The giblet gravy is good too. It's just north of Greer on Highway 14. It's about $8.00 per person, including your drink.

These are all great places to eat for a regular meal. It you want to get good southern tasting food, avoid these buffet "deals". They are too expensive. For Thanksgiving, you need to go where the food taste like Grandma's, especially if you what good dressing and gravy.

We have done the Hilton in Greenville for both Thanksgiving and Easter and it was wonderful! It even had a children's table set up so the kids could get their own food.

With just a little over a month away, I thought I would revive one of the many threads about Thanksgiving dinner in Greenville. This thread seemed to have one of the better lists from the other threads.

Actually, though, what we are looking for is a take-home holiday dinner. Similar to the ones you can get from Publix and Bi-Lo but better. Are there any area restaurants that offer a take home Southern-style thanksgiving dinner for a family?

I wonder if Two Chefs will be doing any Thanksgiving entrees. Might be worth asking them. Their food is really good. Meals To Go: Two Chefs To Go, Greenville South Carolina
