IT Careers in Greenville (college, move to, relocating to)

Hey Everyone,

My name is Jonah and I am new to this forum... I am posting because I am relocating to the Greenville area in a few months and am looking for a career in Information Technology. I graduated college last month so I am looking for an entry-level or less than 2 years experience position.

Can anybody on this forum suggest any places that might be looking for IT help or give me any other kind of career advice for the Greenville area? Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!

I don't know which web sites might be interesting, but this group: GSA Technology Council is useful for networking with people in the industry, particularly the Tech after 5 events: Tech After Five - next meeting July 21.

I always recommend monster.com to people looking for jobs in IT. When I decided to move to Greenville I used monster and found my current job here within a week. I've been in IT for 13 years now, currently working as a Sr. Unix System Admin. Nuvox is one of the bigger tech type companies around here that seem to hire a lot. You could also look into Charter.
