Environmentally friendly hair bleach? Where can I get this? (hydrogen)

I have been reaading of a japanese company called Kao which has extracted a white rot fungus emzine that can bleach hair safer than Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonia hair bleach. Does anyone know how well it works and where I can get some? I want to bleach my hair pure white. My hair is a long beautiful head of curly fine dark blonde hair that I rather not use the standard bleach products on as I am afraid that the bleahc will trash my hair.
