Why not. Their only concern is selling cars not keeping oil companies happy.

Love the biofuel thing. Against drilling some holes in the ground but are completely fine with clear cutting millions of acres of land to grow fuel.

now, they did not say that the machinery in the factory's nor the cars themselves will be free of plastics / rubber and what not. or that the factory's electrical systems would not be pulling from the grid, or the factory's that create the fabrics or the leather they use would not be using oils as well. They will not be full petroleum free, except maybe the fuel aspect of the cars.

Exactly, biofuel is what will cause more problems than oil.

Their cars will have no plastic or produced with the use of oil I wonder? haha, nope.

Hydrogen will put oil oil out of business in the years to come, we just need to figure out how to produce it cheaper and with out using Natural gas in the process.. Remember cars were around in the 1890's but it wasn't till the 40's that everyone had them....
it'll take a few decades but one day oil will just be a lubricant, not a fuel...

I've thought this for a long time. I just hope I live long enough to see it happen.
