Honda outfitted the Grom's diminuitive frame with 12-inch wheels, a large, aggressive-looking headlamp and a sporty nakeness that beckons a rider to hop on and tear up the roads. Only thing is, you top out at about 55 mph; 62 mph if you're small like me (5'2", 120 lbs) and pinning the throttle, or 70 if a truck happens to pass and you get pulled into its draft. But no matter. It's a perfect commuter for the city, on campus and even on twisty backroads. The light weight makes it super easy to flick around and builds confidence in riders at every skill level.
John, you're 5'2" and 120 pounds, just like the woman in the article. John huh?Ok, another ad thread. How about it moderator, this doesn't look like an ad to you?
It's obviously not an ad thread, if you just check out John's profile and read some of his previous posts. He just likes to post articles he finds interesting.

Sounds like a reasonable choice for an urban rider who is mostly on city streets, where typical speed limits might run 30 - 35 mph. As the article says, "it's a perfect commuter for the city, on campus and even on twisty backroads," with a little more pizzazz than a scooter.
And with mileage in the 65 - 90 mpg range, it should be inexpensive to operate, though I think the purchase price is a bit high for the intended market.

Then those posts should be deleted because they are spam,
Of course not. Neither are all the others. I should have known better. I should have realized that a word for word repost of an article with a copyright notice with no credits (link is hardly credit) but posted as first person didn't violate anything.
Not spam. As noted in title, it's "News". This user has been given permission by mods & admin to post news artciles he finds would be of interest to forum members.
I've added QUOTE tags to the original article text to preserve copyright.
