Use the following web sites or other viable, factual sights to PROVE your point of view.
Example #1 - Republicans believe in smaller government so as a result those states that are historically conservative or republican should have lower debt ratio's per capita.

Example #2 - Democrats believe that government is a means to cure or help with many social issues such as health care for one example.

Use these following sites to prove that you are correct. Please state if you are Liberal, Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Libertarian or other.

The first is this forum's home page www.city-data.com can be sorted in multiple ways to show as an example the unemployment rate by state.

Next up, is www.usdebtclock.org the site has information regarding US and state debt, revenue, per capita costs etc...

Third up, is Unemployment Rates for States this particular link goes to the unemployment by state. However you can click on Data Tools to see a lot of information regarding employment and labor statistics

Please feel free to add other viable sites as needed.
My first challenge. Prove that the Historically conservative states are wealthier than historically democrat states.

The following are the results according to the map at www.city-data.com

"Median household income" it appears to me that top 5 highest household income states are Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, California, and Washington. Kind of ironic when Conservatives are blamed as protecting the rich while the richest states are all Democratic.

"Unemployment" WOW now that is a glaring one. I will let you do the search for yourself and look at the map. The most democratic states have the highest unemployment by FAR. Way to go Nevada you appear to be the winner in unemployment followed by Michigan. Michigan being one of the strongest PRO Union states and yet they are second in unemployment.

This thread is already starting to turn into partisan hackery.

California is number 15 in personal income and Washington is 12. 8/10 of the highest income states are blue states, but they focus on education.

This is the great debate forum. If you want partisan hackery move this to POC.
