Default Georgia's on my mind!

What's good about Georgia??? What isn't good about Georgia???
I live in San Diego, CA, and compared to Georgia, its an armpit. Georgia has beautiful dogwood trees, peach and pecan orchards in the south and apple orchards in the north. It has southern hospitality. It has sweet tea. It has people who wave to each other even though they don't know each other. It has big porches and bigger people. If I were to list my favorite things from different cities, (cuz I can't pick just one) it would be:

Atlanta- the aquarium, the Fox, the World of Coke, the Varsity, Centennial Park, underground Atlanta, Mary Mac's, riding up the elevator at the Westin....

Columbus- the riverwalk, Country's BBQ,

Savannah- the cobblestone streets, the big old oak trees that cover the roads with the huge azalea bushes

Athens- UGA! Go Dawgs! Even if you are not a fan, Athens is an amazingly beautiful town, full of old buildings loaded with history.

Warm Springs- the little white house, the fish hatchery, and the pretty shops all down the main street

Pine Mountain- Callaway Gardens, of course.

Helen- Oktoberfest, Anna Ruby Falls, the Chattahoochee River when it is still really a stream, the Apple Barn.

Any little hamlet with a convenience store- Moon Pies and Goo Goo Clusters.

Any visit to Georgia is sure to be a good one. Just come and see why we love it so much here.
