Hi everyone, this is my first time on the Georgia forum.
I'm going around trying to gather information on certain states because I plan on moving here soon.
My family and I want to move somewhere preferably Rural, natural, but yet convenient and safe.
Somewhere with old southern homes, plantation homes, but that still has colleges, and so fourth nearby.
But there is a catch, we're not made of money and it has to be relatively cheap. We currently live in Hendersonville, TN and hate it. We've lived throughout Middle TN since I was born, 18 years ago.
Any suggestions>?

You might find a town/area like this in west Georgia. The University of West Georgia is there, Carrollton. There were smaller southern houses there at one time.

The University of West Georgia

Greensboro, GA is very picturesque, located in SE Georgia between Atlanta and Augusta.
City of Greensboro - Welcome to Greensboro, Georgia Just 1 hour out of Atlanta.

Madison, GA is also in this vicinity and is similar to Greensboro/a number of old Southern homes, etc>>>

Theres a lot of homes that have that style here: https://www.city-data.com/city/Covington-Georgia.html The town center is neat, but not sure I would want my kids in the school system there. Not the best, but it's functional.
