I've always wanted to start a City Vs City themed college thread for Georgia Universities. This is that thread. This thread should be mostly subjective, though you can use data to back up your opinion. I want to know your opinions on what the best Georgia colleges are, based on multiple factors.
For this conversation we will separate research, comprehensive, and state university rankings based on Wikipedia's definitions.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Univer...tem_of_Georgia)

These are the main criteria
- Academic Reputation
- Business Connections
- Student Support
- Size of Campus (Geographical) (you can argue or bigger or smaller campuses based on your preference)
- Quality of the town or city the college resides in
- Transportation around campus and the surrounding city
- Student Population (again you can argue for smaller or bigger numbers)
- Overall Liveliness

Well, this can go any sort of direction so I will just answer from the vantage point of what an alumni might argue.

- Reputation: UGA; for a public uni it's crazy how close their endowment is to a smaller and more expensive private uni like Emory. Seems like UGA puts out happy folk.
- Business Connecs: GATech. Seems like the students who graduate almost all get jobs in their field or related.

- Campus: hmm... Berry College. Prefer nature over city UNLESS the city is more than just concrete slabs of buildings with tiny artificially planted trees along some roads.
- Location quality: SCAD Savannah. Great blend of both, 3-4 hrs from nice locales for holidays.
- Transportation: GSU

- Liveliness: all ITP ATL colleges

Georgia Tech and Emory are held in much higher regard than UGA. UGA is a great school, but Tech and Emory are internationally renowned.

Well... But UGA has a better football team, and to some of us, that is a defining trait!

Woof!!!!
