I am looking for a small town. Everyone knows everyone and I would like it to be country. You know, the boots, the cowboy hats, the farming. Anyway I want a small town like this but I also want it to have a college that has an Elementary Education Program. I would like the college to be near or in a small town. Thanks!

I don't know about boots and cowboy hats and I also didn't check to see if these schools have the program you're looking for (you can look that up) but Swainsboro (East Georgia College), Milledgeville (Georgia College & State University), Tifton (ABAC), Mt. Vernon (Brewton-Parker College), Barnesville (Gordon), Cochran (Middle Georgia College, which now merged with Macon State and is going to be Middle Georgia State College). Of that list, Swainsboro, Cochran and Mt. Vernon would be pretty rural if that's what you want.

North Georgia College and State University (enrollment 6,000) in Dahlonega (pop 5,000) is EXACTLY what you're seeking!

Young Harris College also needs to be added to the list.

Not GCSU. GCSU is filled with Alpharetta bros that couldn't get into UGA or GT..but it's an awesome town and a great school. University of North Georgia is a military school. What is your GPA and SAT/ACT scores OP?

Every other school will suit the OP

Reinhardt University - Waleska, GA.

I don't think it gets more small town than that.
