Have people heard of this? I watched the youtube video last night for the first time (although I'd heard about both before), and was shocked.

The idea is that the US, Canada, and Mexico are eventually going to "unify" and become "one nation." An individual currency will be used--the Amero.

Conspiracy theory or not, it's pretty interesting that none of this has really been broadcast on mainstream media (with the exception of Lou Dobbs of CNN).

What do people think? Will the US/Canada/Mexico eventually become a unified "nation" and use the Amero?

Don't see it happening in my lifetime. Plus the "EU" hasn't made the members of the European Union the same Country, just different Countries using the same currency.

I don't think very many people are seriously suggesting this, and even if they did, there would be widespread opposition in all three countries.

Also NASA faked the moon landings. YouTube proved it.

I don`t know if it will happen it might considering how many globalists there are in government but if it did it would only benefit mexico.

I heard of a NAFTA superhighway being built from canada to mexico.
And with all the bad economic news the media will start saying that the only way for us to survive as a nation is to merge.people will believe.

Like I said I don`t know if it will happen but I would be strongly opposed.

there are atleast 2 NAFTA superhighways being constructed. one is coming to within 16km of my house when it is completed in 2028. if were still there. the other i know is being constructed through the Rockies. if the NAU does come to life i would support it. they have already said that if the countries merged the "New Economy" would grow by atleast 36% within the first 8 yrs. if it does happen we would be the largest country on Earth in terms of geography and i do believe possibly in natural resources.

It might be better if it were just Canada and the U.S. though, we wouldn't have to drag Mexico along. I heard that the Superhighway was supposed to come through Kansas city, Omaha etc.

The NAFTA Superhighway(s) are a horrible reality. I am so glad I don't live in the middle of the country where all these Superhighways will be constructed. NAFTA (approved under the watch of Bill Clinton) has been a disaster, and many jobs have been outsourced overseas by big corporations while the CEOs make off with record levels of profits.

Let's all hope this never comes to pass and we surrender our sovereignty to third world nations. Canada is a lot like us, but Mexico - no thanks. It will then be our responsibility to bring them into the 21st century. Watch your wallet!
