And I don't know why. They're both fine states with plenty of good things going for them. Someone's always got to **** in everyone's Cheerios whenever states like IA or KS get any positive news.
I agree. There are places where I have lived in the past that I did not like. However, I have long since moved on in my life. I have no desire to haunt those forums and make disparaging remarks every time someone says something positive.
What is the point of the "District of Columbia" forum having a subforum for "Washington, DC" when they both redirect to the same page (seeing as they are the same place...)?
No surprise that Texas is #1. Were constantly battling on which Texas city is better? Dallas or Houston. Lol
Actually, TX used to be #2 but overtook NC after the national economy collapsed in 2009. I can't remember when Texas took the lead but it was somewhere around 2010/11.
Poor Kansas. The Kansas City forum steals all of its posts.
I'm surprised there's not a KCK subforum. Loads of stuff going on there, Overland Park, Olathe, etc. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the Kansas portion of the KC metro is growing faster than the Missouri portion.
A lot of the Maine people are like the Alaska people, they chat about goings on in their area. My old home town in Maine has 1300 residents and 8 CD members, where I am in Ohio has 20,500 residents and 4 CD members, 2 of which are not on much. If you look at my stats most of my posts are in the Maine forum, more than I have in Ohio and all sub forums combined.
I have made 4 trips home to Maine over the last few years and met a lot of the Maine CDers, really good people too.

How are you guys able to track this stuff? Especially the number of CD posters in a certain place? Sure, some people will post the name of the city and/or state they live in, but not all.
I've always been interested to know this information.
