The SF Bay Area media does a pretty good job at reminding itself what a wonderful place it is.

SFgate.com, the SF's Chronicle's website, always runs a headline story on their site for any study or lists that ranks the Bay Area tops in whatever.

Saw a University of San Francisco billboard a little while back that simply said "University of the Best City Ever" lol.

My favorite will always be the local CBS's affiliate, KPIX, old tag line; "The Best Place for News in the Best Place on Earth".

The best place on Earth calling KPIX - SFGate

Every time I would drive back from SFO to the East Bay, I got a chuckle out of that sign. I love the Bay. It's my favorite place in the US, but yeah, it's a bit full of itself.

Seems like a lot of outsider media keep touting Austin near the top of a bunch of "Best (this & that)" lists.

Please stop.

It seems like Dallas tries to build itself up quite a bit.
