Yep, I'm east of you near Beaumont (north of) and Exxon Mobil(name brand) stations locally are $2.76. The grocery store stations are in the range you posted ($2.67 ---Sam's Club, Kroger, HEB). I could pay as much as $3.24/gal but being reasonably diligent I'm getting gas under $2.80/gal.
Huge oil refiners all around here though too. 1.6 million barrels/day capacity within 30 miles and 3.5 million barrels/day within 100 miles with 7 of the top 10 capacity refiners in the US within that 100 miles. Houston/Pasadena/Baytown, Beaumont/Port Arthur, and Lake Charles, La. are those locations.
I expected gasoline and diesel prices to go down or stay lower closer to the November election.

A couple of days after I posted that, I needed gas and I noticed that many stations has just shot up 20-30 cents a gallon in just those few days.
I did see two stations that still had gas for $2.79 9/10 and paid that $2.79 9/ at one of them (a Circle K) on 6/21. The other one was a one off/independent station.

I paid the lowest in years on Sunday, at a tribal 76 in Fife WA, $3.37. Then yesterday in Issaquah WA I paid $3.95 at our local Safeway, still less than it's been since about 2020.
$3.79 a gallon in Floyd County, IN (Louisville Metro Area)
$4.79 a gallon/premium- no ethanol
