Medford, OR is a good call. Looking at it led me to nearby Redding, CA which may actually be tops so far. Population 90,000. The Chico Outlaws baseball team could potentially rule them out but it looks like they're at least on a temporary hiatus.

Medford's metro area is slightly bigger at 203k to Redding's 177k. FWIW St George, UT is 162k but projected to double within 15 years.

Good point. The other two might even be wrong, although someone seemed to think Medford might work. As I said though I don't follow sports. I just wanted to look up stuff

Medford to Eugene is about 3 hrs from what I can tell.
