Hello there.
Quick point worth mentioning about ABF U-Pack Moving - Move with the Truck Rental Alternative.
Months ago I scheduled a trailer to come to a location for us to move our stuff cross country{Jersey to Nevada}.

The drop off time was supposed to be between 12-4 today.

At exactly 11:30 this morning they called me and said the truck would be there within 45 mins.

HOWS THAT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

So far so good.

We used ABF-U Pack when we moved from Denver to Miami. Service was EXCELLENT. They notified us an hour before they showed up, picked up exactly when they said they would, and delivered on the morning of the day we specified. The contract was clear and specific with no add-ons or after-the-fact charges.

We will be leaving Miami in another year or so to move back west and we will absolutely use ABF-U-Pack again. I hope your experience with them is as great as ours was. Keep us posted, please!

We used ABF from Canada to Texas. I'd definitely use them again. No surprises, good customer service, professional, on time, and no problems with customs. I paid exactly the estimate generated by their website tool. I'd recommend renting their ramp but invest in your own dolly & buy from Home Depot or similar - but don't go cheap or plastic. We had no problems except the leading floor edge of the trailer seeped water in the snow and rain.

Has anyone ever stored a relo cube with them for shipping out later?

Day two of packing.
So far so good.
Point worth mentioning-the truck was spotless and perfectly placed right where I wanted it.

We used ABF for our move from Maine to NM. I would definitely use them again. They get a big "Two Thumbs Up" from us.

-UPDATE-

So they were supposed to pick up the trailer tomorrow {8/18/10}---but we finished loading yesterday {8/16/10}.
I figured I'd call them an see if they could pick up 2 days early.
Mind you---I called them at 2:00pm----deep into the day.

Yup--u guessed it--they picked it up a few hours later.
N I C E !
So far so good...

FYI-I swear on my mothers life--I do not work for this company-or know anybody that does.
I'm just trying to contribute to this forum because I used it for months looking for direction.

I've used them for 3 major moves now: NY to CA, SoCal to NorCal, CA to CO. The only issue I had was not being given a ramp to load the trailer with this past move, but that is considered optional in the contract (made my move much slower though).

Overall - A pleasant company to deal with, very punctual, which is something that is lost amongst today's moving companies.
