I don't know what's wrong with my cherry tree. It's been planted for 2 and a half years and now looks like it's dying. I had Japanese beetles but got rid of them and now the leaves are curling and turning brown and red.

Fire blight, leaf curl..... Could be a host of issues.

Photos as mentioned above can tell a big story.

Close ups of the affect leaves and branches and over view of tree showing affected area.

Weeping cherries have a lot of problems. I've seen more sick and dead ones than I have seen healthy and happy ones.

When they're healthy they're nice. But that's so infrequent I consider them a trash tree.

I would spray it with a fungicide.
Is it getting enough sun? It looks as if it is crowded in among a lot of other trees.

Fire blight based on the picture is my guess. That tree needs to be sprayed.

All pruners need to be soaked with a bleach solution initially. Then after EACH cut spray it again.

All leaves and branches need to cleaned out from the area and disposed of, not mulched or burned.

I would suggest professional treatment based on the pic.

FYI if one tree has it then many others in the area will as well.
