I love the Angel Food Ministries in my area as well. I have liked everything in the bundles I have bought.

Last time I bought in Vegas, I had to buy the basic box to be eligible for the specials.

Thanks, yellowsnow. sskkc advised that "Years ago, when Angel Food first began, you had to order the basic box box in order to 'qualify' for the specials, with the exception of the Seniors box". That requirement has apparently been removed.

I DON'T!!!!!!! I've seen their food boxes, and what I've seen isn't appealing at all.

Yes, that restriction has been removed. I'm glad too. Good stuff.

Default We ordered

After years of hearing about it, but having no pick up location near us, I found it again, checked and found a new location in the neighborhood. We ordered for May the basic box just to see if we liked it. Seems like a good selection, price was good. Still there are some things I wouldn't have gotten (like the long life milk), but we are happy and probably would order for June.

jtur88, as far as I read, the box is supposed to last a week. Only long shelf life item we got was the milk, everything else is fresh or frozen or canned (only some tomatoes). I do think that for $35 you get a lot of food, especially considering the price of meat.

I agree about the kids box. I wouldn't give most of those things to my kids, so I didn't order it.

You talked me into trying the steaks. I found a site about 10 miles away....not too bad for me. I also don't "have" to order any other food boxes/combo's in my area

I signed up for future coupon codes. I don't know if it will work but I figure it can't hurt. I'm always up for saving money

I think the fruit and veggies box is a really good deal too. In addition to the steaks, I'm going to order that again for June.

I noticed a lot of you said you don't like everything in the boxes. My location has a place at the end of the line that you can leave anything you don't want and the donate it. Why take it home only to throw it out? Have you checked with yours for the same?
