Hi- thanks for your thoughts!! I actually put a contract on a TH on Revelation Drive. I was there in the evening and the neighborhood was pretty active with a lot of kids running around, which I like, but all the neighbood garbage sitting out in the center circle, lots in ratty plastic bags, which I did not. I hope not to have the big parties and worse. It seems like the prices are going up in the area so hopefully the number or people who are invested in the neighborhood will go up, and some of the riff raff stuff will move elsewhere (hope so!!).

HI. My fiance and I are looking at buying a house right along Stauffer Rd. across from the shopping center. I know people say this is a bad area. Anyone who has lived here- is it really that bad? I obviously care about my safety but we are also on a tight budget and it seems like everything we can afford is in an area that could be questionable.

The Spotcrime site didn’t work for me. It showed one arrest in our community (the map was correct) but when I clicked on it for more information it said Ft. Wayne, IN. I found this while searching elsewhere, map of riskiest areas and lists 10 safest areas.
