It looks like I might have a job at Carswell JRB. What is the places have the best schools, lowest crime, lowest prop taxes, etc? I don't mind a commute. I've searched for houses on the internet, and Weatherford looks good. Any inof would be appreciated.

Thanks

Im currently a WG-10. I work in the bomb dump. I currently work at Luke AFB, in Arizona. Our unit is being shut down due to the BRAC. My wife has friends that have lived in FT Worth and they liked it. That is why we chose that base. That, and they had job openings.

well consider yourself lucky. you will LOVE it there. i would have never left if it hadnt been for the husband i was married to at the time enlisting in the Army, hence being misplaced in GA...cant wait to move back to Texas this fall.........
definitely look into Parker County and Wise County....
there is alot of growth in Rhome TX in Wise County-near TX MOTOR SPEEDWAY...beautiful area....and close to NAS JRB
you cant go wrong with any area west of NAS JRB..or north.......
NAS JRB is a GREAT place-nice commissary and GREAT gym...and right on Lake Worth..loved taking the boat out during the air shows and have a front row seat for the Blue Angels flyovers........
