I'm going to be working probably 10 miles southeast of Bridgeport, and am looking for an extended stay type hotel, preferably less than 45 minutes away. I know NOTHING about Texas. Any suggestions would help.

Texas is great, but I have never been to Bridgeport, looks a lot smaller than Fort Worth. Good luck.

google maps lets you search for hotels but don't think there are any extended stay types until FTW area--probably a far drive

you might consider just negotiating a long term rental rate with local hotel in Decature or Bridgeport area
you could also see if you an find a long term rental with one of the vacation properties on Lake Bridgeport or maybe Eagle Mtn Lake

Check with Midway Properties for the possibility of a rent house. Ask for Pam.
