I like Southwest Arlington. I own 2 rent houses there in the Martin HS attendance zone and lived there years ago and my son graduated from Martin HS. Great location and lovely neighborhoods.

Also owned 2 houses in Mansfield, in the Walnut Creek area; nice area and lovely homes, not as convenient to stores. I actually preferred Arlington.

A lot depends on what kind of place you want, how far you want to drive, how much you want to spend, and maybe what hours you work. Go in early or late or even just outside the normal 8-5 and traffic is significantly different.

I'd probably look more South ...Crowley, Burleson, Mansfield. Those are probably further than you considered, but nicer and sometimes newer areas. NRH is probably nice in most parts. I'm thinking most times of day 15-20min....could be much more at 8am and 5pm.

Welcome to Texas.

Most people that I know that live in Burleson enjoy it. I don’t think Crowley is well known for their schools.

Have you looked into Godley?

Id say its "up and coming." Starting to see some new construction of upscale houses on acre lots. Its still very much a blue collar lower income area. Its close to Keene, TX so you can expect to have a high concentration of 7th Day Adventist religious types in the area.

Smaller country town that is now convinently off the Chisholm trail which means quicker travel time to downtown Fort Worth. It will definitely be growing fast but its a nice country setting with nice houses if you are looking for that. Godley ISD is pretty decent from what I hear as well. Taxes wont be a killer out there compared to Aledo.

I will check out Godley.

How is Cityview area in Ft. Worth off Bryant Irvin Road? There are several luxury apartments with good reviews in that area.
