i lived in Aledo in 95-01..drove to Ft Worth to work at JPS Hospital...it took me 30 minutes give or take, so i would think Irving would be 45-60 min, but then again, it depends on what time of day. i am an RN so i work off-hours, not your 9-5 gig...........so i am spared of traffic

Ouch that would be a good hour and a half. I went to TCU and I commuted from Irving to TCU and that took about an hour and Aledo about another 20 minutes. Ever thought about Southlake. That commute is 10 minutes from Irving

That would be a brutal commute during high-traffic times and just plain long at odd hours. I do like Aledo, though!

Could you get a helicopter? Otherwise, I wouldn't dare set myself up for that awful of a commute...

From Aledo to the 820 and 35 point is a 20 to 30 min drive. Then you hit traffic beyond that point and it would depend on your travel time. From that point it takes me about 25 to 30 minutes to get to the cowboys games, but that is on sunday and not as much traffic. at 8am on Monday would be totally different.
