Hi!
We will be relocating to South Whitley sometime within the year. We are moving there to infill a mobile home park and get it up and running.
I can tell South Whitley is really small. Can you fill me in on the amenities available there? Stores, Restaurants, etc. Also, where do the locals go when needing the larger stores and entertainment?
My son will be in 2nd grade. How is the school? Do the residents seems to be welcoming and friendly? Does South Whitley have city sports like baseball and soccer?
The reports show virtually no crime...is this still true? It looks sleepy and I like that! Sleepy is good
How are the roads and travel to get to bigger cities?
Basically anything you can tell me will be appreciated!! Thanks so much!!

I worked in South Whitley between undergrad and grad school. Sleepy little town isn't the half of it. You're close enough to Fort Wayne and Warsaw if you need big town things like big box stores, etc. I worked at a party supply company called Stumps. The people who I worked with were true salt of the early people. They never made me feel like an outsider even though I really was.
