Has anyone made the trip to Dolphins stadium from FM this year? How is the drive and can you find tickets near the game? Thanks

I had season tickets for the last three years. Takes about 3 hours drive time give or take. I always see people selling tickets around the stadium, but just be careful. When I sell an individual ticket to the game instead of going, the box office issues another ticket. I still have my season ticket for that game, but it is cancelled. They scan all tickets when entering.

I also have season tickets. The worse part is the traffic entering and leaving the stadium. The parking lot opens 4 hours before the game and the gates open 2 hours before.

You can also get tickets through NFL ticket exchange. You can also buy them at the box office although your selection will be limited, especially groups of seats together.

There is really no other place to park but the stadium. It is just a matter of how far out you will be.

Lets see 3 hrs to get there....it would be good to be able to park before the gates open....3 hrs then the game 3 then 3 back,12 hr day sound about right? And it looks like a Bucs game would be about the same story? Thanks

Sounds about right. For 1 PM Sunday games, I pick up my friend in N Ft Myers about 7am and head to either tailgate or Hooters, getting there around 10. Hit the stadium parking lot at least 1+ hour before, traffic starts backing up about 11:30, gets really bad around 12pm. game over around 4PM and then back home 7-8PM. Just in time for the Sunday night game.

Haven't been to a Bucs game in 4 years, but the drive is a little shorter, 2 1/2 hours....

Of course when the Phins loose, the drive seems abour 5 hours long.
