Can someone give me an estimated daily commute time from Dania Beach (east of Route 1) to Miami Airport please? Is 95 as horrible as it sounds? Is there a better route?

Yes, I-95 is as horrible as it sounds and NO there is no better alternative route. You must take 95 south from the eastern part of Dania. US1 is too slow and too many lights, equal traffic. In peak morning rush hour it takes over 1 hour. You will need to leave at least 1 hour and 15 minutes perhaps longer.

The traffic also varies depending on what time you leave. If you leave before 7AM, your commute won't be too bad, but if you are driving between 7:15 A.M. and 9:15 A.M. you are in for brutal stop and go traffic most of the way. The afternoon rush hour lasts longer. Usually traffic coming out of Miami gets bad after 3:30 P.M. and stays bad until about 7:30.
