We have narrowed our home search down! Our daughter is a competitive gymnast that requires her to be at the gym 5 days a week. We found the gym, at Lyons Road and W. Hilsboro Blvd.

DH will be working in Davie. From what I have read on hear and researched, it looks like Parkland, Coral Springs, Coconut Creek and maybe Boca.

Any suggestions for typical "urban suburb" neighborhoods within a 15 minute drive from Lyons Road and West Hilsboro Blvd. Good schools, parks, safe....

Thanks for helping,
Crystal

East or West Davie? If east Davie, than Boca which will have somewhat of an urban suburban feel the further east you go, and it does have good schools. If western Davie, than Parkland - it will have good schools, but it is completely suburban. There is no place with good schools other than Boca that would have any kind of a street-like environment, and to describe Boca even that way, is probably pushing a bit. Both will be long-ish commutes for your husband, but there's no getting around that because of the need for both the gym and the school district.
