If you get to downtown by 8-8:30, The morning commute is not bad at all. I don't know if OP stayed for the whole day after the meeting, but coming back north in the evening peak can be a pain, especially if you have to get the Turnpike. You run into a huge bottleneck at the Golden Glades, and the Express Lanes get backed up too!

I guess that is the price I will have to pay for being for normality. I like what I do at my current job but the people there are very strange to say the least and it isn't something I want to get adjusted to. Miami's vibe is completely different and much more like what I am used to. I get in at 9:00 and leave at 5:00p.

The turnpike entrance on Griffin is just west of 441.

You work in Dania, right? There are some odd people/offices in this area. After 10 years of corporate life, I kind of miss that odd vibe, though.
