Thanks everyone for your replies. I have been busy at work and forgot I had posted this.

I have been researching the job market and I get the sense that there is not much out there. If you are not in the medical field or technology, a good job may be hard to come by in the city. Otherwise you may have to commute.

It feels as if the city is slightly overpopulated, pure speculation on my part due to the high traffic I see on Harmony and College. It could be that the city is not set-up to efficiently move traffic, but I can't really say since I am new here (I guess I shouldn't complain since I'm adding to that traffic by moving here). This makes me wonder where all the people work if the job market is not the greatest.

Also, I noticed a lot of license plates from Wyoming. Is it because people come to school here or for work? I can't imagine how much work there is if people from this area are competing with people from Wyoming.

A lot of folks from Wyoming come to shop and to restaurants/culture. As for traffic - I think that's relative. I find it really pleasant getting around this area. There are so many alternates that you are never "stuck" like you are in other states/places. There are numerous north/south and east/west roads so you can pick and choose your route. I guess it's relative to what you're used to?

As for the job market - I think you did a pretty accurate assessment, though I'd add in education. If you aren't in tech/medical/education, you may have more competition for jobs here in this area.
