I found an older home that has been on the market for over a year and has been vacant as long. The agent said that it is a short sale deal. The listing price has never changed since the day it went on the market and they've not had one offer and the home goes into forclosure in February. Should I make a short sale offer or wait until it forcloses?

I'd wait, the home is likely to come back on the market at a lower price and/or the lender will be very aggressive about price reductions.
