REDC short sale for BofA? (auctions, new agent, sales, sell)

My new agent listing my house for a short sale says he has never heard of REDC who I have been working with (they sent me letters) for my short sell and HAFA.

He says he asked around and nobody else had heard of it either, only on auctions of bank owned homes.

He wants me to call BofA loss mitigation dept. and ask if it's true.

I called 2 loss mitigation numbers and left messages.

I guess he is worried REDC is not supposed to be dealing in the short sales and it may be a scam.

Does anyone know?
