Are you sure the engine needs a rebuild? Have you done compression and/or better yet leakdown tests?

If you want to build the engine for more power, OK, fine, but most of those engines will go on about forever, if they are given good clean oil.

If it's just some partially stuck rings, maybe just driving it more and doing a few short interval oil changes will clean things up to the point it works more or less right.
