I have a 2020 Corsair with 2.0 gas engine, love, its a 4 banger but plenty of power and good (`25 MPG with E10) fuel economy

I agree with the posters who speak positively about 4 cylinder engines.

We have a 2018 VW Tiguan with a 4 cylinder 2.0 turbo engine.

After 4+ years and 35,000+ miles of driving, I can attest our engine has no issues with providing power, even at highway speeds while going uphill.

Additionally, it routinely surpasses its EPA mpg rating of 20/27/25 (city/highway/combined).

Four cylinder engines are the present and immediate future for ICE vehicles.

Subaru, Mazda, Mitsubushi, Kia, and Hyundai for example have no 6 cylinder vehicles.
Honda has four 6 cylinder vehicles
  • Honda Odyssey
  • Honda Pilot
  • Honda Passport
  • Honda Ridgeline
Nissan and Toyota have several.
Toyota still has 8 cylinders in the 2022 Toyota Sequoia (and a 5.7 Liter engine), but that is expected to be changed to a 6 cylinder (like the Tundra)
Nissan still has 8 cylinders in the 2022 Nissan Armada

The overwhelming majority of Gasoline Turbo Engine Production Share are 4 cylinder engines.

Market share of turbocharged engines are steadily increasing, and is predicted to go on increasing.

Lincoln has really improved since I looked at them 3 years ago.

The interior materials look much more classy now, and the exterior styling suits my tastes. Even the paint looks better now.

The Corsair is a bit small for me, & the Aviator is a bit large. I drove the Aviator, & it drove well, but felt bigger than it looked when I drove it. Also, the digital dash said it was averaging just 17 mpg's (all test drive miles, but still).

The Nautilus seems like the right size for me, but I wont buy the 4 cyl, and they had no 6's available.

They were not even able to order a Nautilus with a 6 cyl at this time, and had no more coming in that were not pre-sold.

A guy was trading in a beautiful 2021 Nautilus for a 2021 Aviator because he hated the 4 cyl engine in his Nautilus, and since they had no 6's, so he had to move up to the Aviator.

I read the Nautilus is a Ford Edge with a different outer shell, and interior.

Anyone have anyfeedback on either? 2020-2021 Nautilus or Edge?

Eventually, this supply chain micro chip issue will go away, so I'd love to hear from some owners.
Wife just got a 2021 Nautilus, like new, only 9k miles, with the 2.7 v6 twin turbo. Asher Gray I think is what they call the color. Nice.

We have a 2021 Aviator AWD trade in bought last fall with 29k miles. Lots of gremlins in the infotainment system. Otherwise a very quick, nicely dressed little suv. Love the front seats. Trip mileage around 24mpg, around 19.1mpg. May trade it in for newer version with adaptive suspension.
