95 Mercury Cougar XR-7 with the 4.6L. Paint is shot from UV, but no rust, dirty, but runs great. A/C works. $400 car. Well I have done some work to correct some of the issues it had when I first got it.

2000 Taurus 24V with 292K.

Transmission clutches are starting to go, oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket leak for the last 7yrs (Shower curtain absorbs the leak), paint gone on hood, worn struts, ball joints, engine mounts, AC Compressor starting to feel weak).

But I still drive 400 miles a week and will drive until I physical cant drive it anymore, since I have weel got my monts worth when it was paid off in 2006 with 130K on it.

A 2010 Exploder, the most recent of five. Most of them have been good cars.

Before we downsized number of vehicles 2 years ago, my daily was a 1999 Ford Explorer (5.0 V8), 260,000 miles, purchased new in 1999. Only replaced plugs/wires/belts/hoses at around 100,000, a starter at 150,000, and belts/hoses again at 200,000. Never needed to replace exhaust system/muffler. Of course had a couple of batteries and sets of tires and regular oil changes. Air conditioning went out at 200,000 something, got by with a 12 volt fan and open windows. Talked recently with the guy that bought it and it is still running, he uses it to pull a trailer for his small business. I pulled a small camper many thousands of miles. I still miss it, kind of vehicle you can park anywhere and don't care if someone opens there door and hits it....more likely to cause more damage to their vehicle.

2014 Taurus SHO 12S (Performance Package). Canned tune, PPE downpipe, H&R springs, otherwise totally stock. 12.8@108 in the 1/4 mile. Reliable as a rock - zero issues. More fun to drive than my 2018 Dinan S1 BMW M550i. Amazing car - the fact that these didn't sell like hotcakes is one of the great mysteries of the universe.

2019 Transit 350 3.5 EB. I've had it about 6 months and it already has a lane departure warning light failure.

For awhile, it was an 08 Ford Fusion. It was near 120K. I bought a '16 Ford Fusion and that is my daily driver now...it is under 39K. For awhile, I had both Fusions. I just recently traded in the 08 Fusion.

With a couple of exceptions, I have been Ford for most of my life.
