As a former Crown Vic owner this is sad to watch. A great car that always sacrificed themselves in cop movies for the name of entertainment. The last Crown Vic taxi will be gone from the streets of NYC soon. This car was one, if not the LAST body on frame ever made. This is the last true American sedan, even though they were made in Canada. They're becoming rare, but I was happy enough to see a State Trooper drive one earlier today. They're dwindling in numbers in law enforcement, but they will never quit. They aren't as fragile as the newer cars in law enforcement. They'll drive over a curb at 20mph and shrug it off. Spartans never die! It was an honor.
The last one for american market, yeah. All the 2012s went to saudi arabia. Stability control had not yet been federally mandated over there. They aren't rare either. I remember this video and wondered why they had to make one more peelformance white car.
Problem with the Town Car is that it comes with unnecessary crap like air ride suspension that tends to be problematic.
Yeah, but chances are they weren't beat to crap by cops or taxi drivers. I would guess getting rid of the air bags and putting in normal shocks would be relatively cheap and easy.
That is unless the car is an old rusty son of a ***** like most of the ones around my area probably are.

What the hell? I can't write out the word be-otch without getting censord?
I'll take a 2011 LTC .. was 2011 the last year, or 2012?
Ended production in 2011. The same plant made the Marquis and the Crown Vic. The Vic was for fleet sales only starting in 2008. I happy to at least see the Continential return.

Swap those airbags out for regular shocks. The Town car or the Marquis are both better deals and most likely gently used due to the average buyer being in their 50s through 70s

They were the same car different trim that’s all same body, same chassis, same motor. It’s like the Chevrolet and GMC pickups shade on same line different trim. When i worked at Chrysler we made the Ram Charger and Trailduster same assembly line.
