It's blue--that's all I know. I think it was one of the "Frost" variety, but I'm not really sure.
My second favorite was Lemon Ice or Lemonade--they taste pretty much the same to me.
I remember those clear "Ice" flavors, starting with Lemon Ice in 1996, Orange, Lime and Strawberry Ice in 2002, and Watermelon Ice in 2003. I really wonder why these didn't succeed, especially considering that some people try to avoid artificial colors.
The Frost family actually had two blue colored flavors: Frost Glacier Freeze and Frost Cascade Crash. Glacier Freeze was one of the original three Frost flavors, along with Riptide Rush and Alpine Snow. In 2001, High Tide was added but was discontinued two years later. In 2003, Cascade Crash was added, but I think it was discontinued in 2007.
If I have the flu, Lemon ice or lemon freeze? Not sure which.
If I'm not sick, Gatorade tastes like I'm drinking someone's sweaty backwash. Anyone else get that impression?
I would like to know, what is your favorite Powerade flavor?
My favorite is Strawberry Lemonade. Not because it is pink, but because it tastes the best.
