Ok, when I was younger I liked (loved) Pizza Hut's thick crust pizza w/ the buttery bottom.

Now, not so much. I am thin crust all the way.

Which do you prefer?

Crispy, thin crust all the way. I can not eat thick crust pizza like Pizza Hut deep dish anymore. It tastes like I am eating a loaf of bread topped with tomato sauce. Yuck!

I always chose Pizza Hut's hand-tossed crust. I still prefer that type of crust. Lucky for me, my hubby can toss them with gusto!

Thick crust is just way too much starch, as most pizza doughs are made from refined white flour. This converts to a quick insulin spike then drops off just as quickly. Whole wheat dough would be best, but it costs more, which seems to be the worst possible sin in corporate minds.

Thin crust provides more than enough flour/dough for nutritional purposes, and allows a better balance between toppings and dough.

I don't eat thick crust pizza for the same reasons I don't put a slice of cheese between slices of bread that are each 2 inches thick. I want flavor and toppings, not dough.
