Had dinner with my mother at Lazy Dog in nearby Euless, TX, tonight. I had a cheeseburger (with that bark-n-bite sauce) alongside some onion rings. Dr Pepper to wash it down. Beforehand, I munched on a few tortilla chips and dipped them in good tomato salsa.
Trottole pasta with Tuscan kale, Swiss chard, onion, garlic, red chilies, walnuts and ricotta. A tossed salad with a red wine vinaigrette and a glass of pinot noir.
Beef chilli with lots of garden chillies and corn muffins with the works.
Happy hour - pretzel knots with salame and cheese, Merlot
