For months now I've been making basic lunches mixing and matching any two of these:

-- 3 falafel balls and about four pieces each of apple slices, baby carrots, cut celery sticks, cherry/grape tomatoes, and various fresh cut yellow, red, green, and orange pepper slices......with hummus

-- mixed raspberries, blueberries strawberries, and blackberries, with cinnamon, and greek yogurt.sour cream, and drizzled honey

-- 2 Trader Joes Vegetable patties carrots & peas, and cauliflower & broccoli (one patty each)

-- Roasted and spiced mixed vegetables (string beans, garlic, tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, jiulienned carrots, mushrooms, red/green/yellow/orange peppers)

-- Roasted and spiced butternut squash, yam, or sweet potato slices

-- Half and avocado, sprinkled with spices

Add in -- on any given day -- a hard boiled egg, and apple or small container cup of apple sauce

Only water to drink.

(My lunches are pretty healthy. My dinners are where I go off the rails.)

I had a Jamacian beef patty and a raspberry lime seltzer. It was so good I debated getting a second one. Luckily for my waist I decided not to!

We’re currently on a house-hunting trip, so our only choice is a restaurant. Today will either be Chinese, Thai, or Indian. We both love spicy Asian cuisines, so it’s hard to decide.
