Hey all, I just purchased a 13 piece set of Calphalon stainless steel cookware, have yet to open it as I bought it out of state and left it there for my move in the next few months.
Can you give me your experiences with this cookware, did I make the right choice for quality cookware?
depends on what you are cooking, but yes, it is good quality.
I have Le Crueset myself, Lodge cast iron, and copper saucepans.
But then again, I am a bit on the anal side when it comes to what I cook with
I have Calphalon anodised aluminium (not the non-stick). Love it. I saved it for a while for when I get a new kitchen, then cracked them open one day on impulse and couldn't work out why I hadn't used them before.
Thanks for your responses, I'm glad I waited until I had the money and not buy other product I didn't want and now I'm sure I made the right choice.
We will be retiring and moving out to Nevada so I left them with a friend in Carson City and wish I could use them now but didn't want to fly them up and move them back down. I am looking forward to cooking with them, I only have 5 more months to wait. Dang
I don't have Calphalon but Tressa, we do have something in common. Your name is my middle name. I've only met one other person face to face with this name. It's not one we hear often.
Your right it's not common at all, I guess I was named after my grandmother. Several of my extened family members are named Tressa I guess they really liked the name.
