I don't have the Durkee onion rings but I do have Onion Soup mix. Would that work? This is for those skinless, boneless thighs so it's easy and should cook quickly right?

Do I need to add any salt, pepper, garlic, any of that stuff?

I'd love to get some clams and lobster from Elston as side dishes.... Oysters? Nahhhh. I'll take double the clams. Thanks Elston!
You will need to cook thighs (dark meat) just a tad longer---temp should be 185 on dark meat and 145 on white meat ( breasts).

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!!!!!!

Tonight I experimented. I thought, since carmelized onions are good with liver, why not use them for something else? So, I carmelized a big vidalia onion with a can of sliced mushrooms. Then, I made 4 ground bison patties (just as yummy as beef and low fat) and browned them in the same pan. Then I added a jar of beef au jus and simmered awhile. I served over toast points with macaroni and cheese and some left over spinach. Not exactly gourmet or anything, but not bad. You need to know that the hubby actually likes jar gravy (despite this, he has some good qualities), so this would be a key point in the scenario.

Hey! What's for dinner? We baked chicken in the oven to help heat up the house. Also had baked potato and broccolli. Seems like a winter meal but it's been too cool and rainy to do burgers on the grill!! Saturday had a Mexican feast with fajitas, caesadias, and Margaritas for a change of pace. Great topic. Have a good one.
