Tonight we'll have pork cut in thin slices, fried with onion, fresh mushrooms and a sour cream sauce.
I probably make some rosemary potatoes to get along with the meat.
A bowl of mash with peas, beans, carrots and broccoli and a tin of red salmon stirred through then a good bit of cracked black pepper and some salt and a generous squeeze of fresh lemon. It was YUM!!!

Sour cream was always the condiment of choice both of my grannys and my mom served with either stuffed cabbage or pirogi. The layered cabbage sounds interesting, kinda like a Slavic lasagna

Dinner tonight was a grilled smoked turkey breast, roasted red pepper, and pepper-jack cheese sandwich. Put a piece of foil on the sandwich on the griddle, put a cast iron skillet on top et Voila!, a no-buck pannini press
fresh spinach-grilled chicken-mandarin orange-strawberry salad with oil and red wine vinegar and some fresh-ground black pepper. It was excellent!!
