Good morning all! Not sure what is for dinner tonight, but it's going to be something warm and comforting. It's -26 with wind chill this morning.

My husband says it's freaking cold with a wind chill of instant frost bite. I'm so glad that I don't have anywhere to go today and even more glad that we have a fenced yard for the dogs!

Dear god, how are holding up in that frigid weather? 12 today it hit 70 degrees and I started airing the house out and washed some windows. This weather is getting really crazy all around. Anyone who can get a flight out to NC is more than welcomed to our home. I am changing the split chicken menu tonight and I am going to grill burgers.
Sending warm thoughts to all of you. kelsie

Kelsie-it's brutal and just staying in but the bad part is how long it's to last. Tonight's actual temp will be 45 below zero.

It is cold here too. My dance room is right next to the doors outside and I have concrete walls. My hands have been frozen and I haven't taken my coat off all day!!

I think I am picking up the tree (finally!!) on the way home from work and then I am not leaving the house. BRRRRR

OMG, to think we left So. NJ in 03 because we got 37 1/2" of snow President's weekend. Our Samoyed saw her first spritz of flurries for the first time in her 5 yrs. last month and went crazy. We were thinking of taking a road trip to the mts. so that she could see real snow, but what you guys are getting is just so terrible. I would not be able to take it. My invitation is open, come on down if you can get a flight.
Please stay safe and warm, sending you some cyber oak to burn in the fireplace.
