Nothing special - just whole corn (canned or frozen), an egg or two, and enough flour and milk to make a batter. Last night I added chopped green onions & fresh cilantro to the batter, that was good Nice with a sweet chilli dipping sauce.
They are also good with crumbled bacon in the batter, and blue cheese dip
Interesting. We do have some leftover rice. I'll add sage and let you know. (Of course, we'll be having it with chicken ... lol)
Good morning everyone,
Well - I added the sage ... and that wasn't it. It was still missing something. Maybe it just wasn't a combination that would work, but I do love trying.

I cooked the crockpot Taco Soup Saturday while out working in the yard. Man is that good stuff. I can't remember who's recipe it is so someone let me know so I can send some reps.
I'm planning on roasting a chicken today, trying to decide whether to do a 40-garlic-clove or a lemon, garlic & thyme version, and crockpot or oven....
Whatever happens, it WILL feature plenty of garlic, that much I do know!!!
